Animator/Supervisor/Educator

For the past 20 years, Angie has created animation for film, music videos, ride films, games, and commercials. Her film and commercial work include Oscar winning films, two Clios and one VES award. Character and creature animation are her specialty. She enjoys the challenge of moving back and forth amongst the "sweet and endearing" and the "evil and deadly." Angie has also written and co-authored several books on animation, and is Assitant Professor at University of Southern California at the John C Hench Animation & Digital Arts School of Cinematic Arts. She also has taught at several institutions in the Los Angeles area including: Dhima, Gnomon School of VFX and ianimate.net. Her most recent animation book is called Thinking Animation: Bridging the Gap Between 2D and CG. Angie also has a popular animation blog named after the book Thinking Animation. She lives in downtown Los Angeles where she spends time painting on very large canvases.
